Step 1: Register with BUDDYGO

First things first, register yourself on the app. You can use your mobile number or any of your social media logins or gmail. Use BUDDYGO to schedule your classes, generate payment plans, receive online payments 24/7, and let your students enrol in the classes and choose to pay for the plans they subscribe to. All automated in your app

First things first, register yourself on the app. You can use your mobile number or any of your social media logins or gmail. Use BUDDYGO to schedule your classes, generate payment plans, receive online payments 24/7, and let your students enrol in the classes and choose to pay for the plans they subscribe to. All automated in your app

Step 3: Add classes to your schedule

When you login for the first time as a teacher, you will be asked if you would like to create a new activity/class. If you say yes, you will be taken to the class set up page. Else access the ‘add class/payment’ anytime you like on the home page as shown below

Fill in the required blanks. Start with deciding whether the class is public. In case you want to hold a private class and invite only a select few, then toggle the switch off to set it to private

Select ‘add plan’ to start adding payment plans for your students.

‘Access all classes’ allows your students to have access to all/any of the classes that you publish if they choose that plan

‘Access for a class’ allows your students to access only the classes tagged to that particular plan.

Fill in the rest of the details. Add a name for your plan. Price and taxes as applicable.

Decide on the method of payment you would prefer.

Decide the time period of the validity of the plan.
Save and close or save and add another plan.

Step 5: Assign payment plans

After you create classes and payment plans, you can assign plans to the classes. There are two ways you can assign plans

when you set up a class
Sidebar menu > my classes > edit > assign plans

You can choose any number of plans and tag them to a particular class so that your students can have different payment options.

Step 6: Complete your profile & set your preferences

Sidebar menu > ‘email adress’

If you click on your email address in the side menu, it will take you to your profile page. Add in your teaching speciality & your social media handles so that your students can find you online too. You can choose whether you students can view your profile or if you prefer your profile locked.

DON’T FORGET TO ADD YOUR BANK DETAILS so that your students can pay you online.

Set your preferences for your app.

Add you holidays so that the app can remind you not to set classes on that day.

Step 7: Invite your students/ parents

Sidebar menu > ‘email

After you add classes and payment plans, you are now ready to invite your students/parents on the app.

Send a link via the sidebar menu or via your profile page. Once the students download the app, they can add your unique teacher code and all your classes and payment plans are reflected in your students app.

Once they choose a class and a payment plan, they will be directed to pay. Once the payment is done, they will be automatically linked to your calendar schedule.

You can use the dropdown in your calendar next to your scheduled classes to

  1. broadcast a link

  2. send last minute notifications(instruction

  3. specific to that class

  4. add a student for a demo/trial class (who hasn’t paid yet)> Can even work as a makeup class

  5. reschedule the class

  6. mark manual attendance in case of makeup class

  7. cancel the class

You can add additional classes or payment plans from the home page (calendar view) directly by using the ‘add’ button\
